Copyright policy

SeleneZ respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. Only upload music and other content that you own or have permission to use.

Library music: fine anywhere, including expedition flags.

Music uploaded from a device: the card can't be added to a flag.

Music on cards and flags

A card's music can come from our library or from your device. Library tracks are cleared for use anywhere on SeleneZ. To comply with intellectual property laws, cards that use music uploaded from a device can't be added to an expedition flag, which other people can see.

Reporting infringement

If you believe content on SeleneZ infringes your copyright, email us at our support address. Your notice should include:

1Your name and contact details (address, phone number and email).
2A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
3The gift link of the card, or other details that let us find the content.
4A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorized by the rights holder, their agent or the law.
5A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.
6Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We review every notice and promptly remove content that infringes. We may let the user who uploaded it know.

Repeat infringers

3Music upload turned off (library still works)

Each upheld notice counts as a strike against the account that uploaded the content. After 3 strikes, the account can no longer upload music, though it can still use music from the library. We may take further action against accounts that keep infringing.
